People ask me all the time which room is my favorite of the makeover...It's a difficult one to answer. My dining room is probably my favorite room to be in...I love getting to cook in my kitchen...the office/guest room looks exactly as I hoped but never truly believed it could...and the master bathroom is probably the greatest improvement. This room was NASTY. Not only was the room just really, really gross with cats living in it and a murky clogged tub, but the decor was just pukey. Dingy velvet wallpaper and carpet on the FRONT of the bathtub! A huge, green toilet, no shower, and creepy gold-streaked porn-star mirror tiles surrounding the tub. Ew.
We kept the vanity but replaced the top with a new concrete counter and took off some of the doors to have some open shelving. I found the wood baskets at The Container Store and think they go perfect!
Oh my gosh..The carpet! The green! That toilet!!!
And there's those tiles. Thank goodness we got rid of that stained glass too.
And finally...looking in from the bedroom. A room that I used to be terrified to go in, now is the perfect retreat for me!
